Mixed reactions?!

I know what you mean. My best friends were all really excited and happy for us since they've known us the whole time. But, some of my 'friends' started acting weird... I think it's jealousy since they're not in relationships... I've gotten 'oh that's nice' when I told one friend and a few months later she asked me 'are you still with that guy?' and another friend who doesn't want to acknowledge that I'm actually getting married (if I so much as mention it she changes the subject immediately), another friend who completely stopped talking to me when I told her I got engaged (never so much as replied with a congratulations), etc.
I know it hurts but try not to take it personally and remember it's their own insecurity/jealousy which you can't control.

My FH and i were together about 6 months when we 'knew'. We got 'engaged' on our three year anniversary. Well be married at the 4 year mark.

MY point is that if YOU and FH are truely happy then it doesn't make a difference if it's 3 months or years. Only you guys can tell that. I'm very happy that you found someone.
