Mixer bought off regisry!!!!

to add a tea kettle because FH was home yesterday and boiled water but forgot and it burned it because it all evaporated ... ...

AND SOMEONE BOUGHT MY KITCHENAID MIXER!!!!!!!!

I didn't think anyone would buy that!!!!! I don't think my shower invites went out yet - my mom said she was still throwing dates around - but maybe she said that to throw me off???

Maybe! I think I know who bought it - either FILs or a friend of mine who has one and convinced me to register for it. If it was the friend, I will be because she just bought a house and that is too much for a shower gift. I intended it to be something people could go in on together. Not many people know where I registered so unless the invites DID go out, it can only be a few people!

I really wasn't snooping, I promise!!! I just went to add the tea kettle!! But it's soooo fun to see what was bought! There were all these zero's (indicating nothing had been bought) and then there was a 1, and it totally surprised me!!!

That's awesome! I bet mom bought it for you. FMIL bought me mine for Christmas and didn't get it from BBB, so it didn't come off of my registry. When I got it I was SO surprised!

My mom told me a while ago she was 'done' buying me shower gifts. (She is throwing my shower along with my sister, so I don't really expect any gifts from her.) Unless she said that to throw me off AGAIN ...

I only have this and my flatware bought. I really think it's just close family who know I registered. But still, I agree, I am lucky someone loved me enough to buy the mixer!!
