Mixing yellow gold and white gold jewelry on the Big Day????????????

Hey everyone!!!

I am sooo stressing over this. I went for my dress 'visit' about a week ago and I thought I knew what jewelry I was going to wear...all pearls.

But when I saw it all together, I felt too white. My engagement ring and wedding band are white gold....but I was thinking of borrowing my mom's jewelry (bracelet and earrings) and they are yellow gold. It is a sapphire bracelet and earrings, she also has a garnet set that I'm thinking of wearing also.

I'm not sure about mixing the two....any thoughts??????

I would mix the yellow & white gold! Truthfully I love the way it looks together.

i think it's fine.

if it makes you feel better, i read in a wedding magazine that it's fine to have jewelry that's a different metal than your wedding band/engagement ring, as long as you keep everything else the same.

don't stress about it. if you think it look pretty, than go for it! =0)

i wanted to be honest, but i dont like it :( im sorry, i just think its supposed to be subtle, and when u start mixing colors, it tends to look like 'too much'

i dont mind it for everyday, but i wouldnt mix it on your wedding day.

I agree too! I would stick with the white gold. Maybe get a spray tan to look less pale.
