M&M Favors in boxes.......One per person or per couple??

FH & I plan on doing a donation instead of favors but we also want to give out alittle something so we are going to do personalized M&M's in boxes..like these below.
Should I do one per couple or one per person??
My mom think one per couple but I think since they are edible and M&M's that we should do one per person?
what do you think???

I had the same question....and I bought 100 boxes, but I planned on doing 1 per couple, but I guess I can always do the 1 per person....

I think one per couple. We are doing leaf cookie cutters w/ sugar cookie recipe and cardboard looking boxes with lindt chocolate truffles. The cookie cutters will be for the ladies and the chocolate for males/and the 11 children (nieces, nephews, and cousins involved in wedding). Hopefully the men will share the chocolate with the ladies.
