It's actually the opposite - normally there's all sorts of wedding drama because they want to wear the same color.
Someone will prob be pissed lol I was so confused when I heard that bc I was like NO WAY Women are to petty for that! lol

No - MOB typically picks her color first and then MOG...MOG isn't supposed to make any changes.
I think it would be better for them to wear different colors. Why would you want them to be the same?
I heard that they can wear shades of the same color to match or blend the bridal party if the bride wants.. but i could be wrong... dont quote me.
noooo way... my mom would have been PO'ed big time if they both had the same color on... lol in fact i think my mother found out before hand what my BIL's mother was wearing to my sis and BIL's wedding.
BMs choose their dresses. Then MOB chooses hers. The MOG chooses hers. The goal is that all 3 colors are somewhat different, but do not clash.
They should never wear the same color. It is also and old Italian superstitions that the MOG should never, ever wear red. It means that you don not have her blessing on the marriage.

I think maybe years ago all of the bridal party and the MOB & MOG wore the same color ... but not now. I would just let both MOB and MOG choose whatever color they wanted.
