MOB color

MOB color

So I hate all the MOB dresses i've seen.To me they are too matronly for my mom, and she doesn't ilke them. Then today in Lord and Taylor i saw the most perfect dress for her, and she loved it. But it was purple. My BMs are wearing purple. They are definitely different shades, and total different styles/materials, but I was wondering if it is bad to put my mom in the same color?

I dont think it is. I was actually thinking of having my mom match my colors.. im doing purple also. I was just thinking of doing a dif shade of purple that will still compliment the BM shade. Im not sure yet though.

I don't think it's bad at all. If your mom looks good and feels good than go with the purple!

My girls are in burgundy and my mom is in merlot - they're similar colors but totally different dresses and I think everyone will look gorgeous

My BM's alternated blue and purple.. my Mom wore purple. I liked that she sort of matched the color scheme. It was NOTHING like my BM dress.. I don't think it's weird at all

My mom is wearin Navy and the girls are wearing light blue... I think its nice to complement the colors, but they dont have to match either!!

I think that would be perfect..when I went looking for my mom the bridal attendant said that most brides try to have their mom in the same color family or the same color but different shade. You should be fine.

This should be fine. Actually I bought my mom a book on what MOB responsiblities are(as a joke). But she has been reading it & told me the other day that it said the MOB dress should be in the same color family as the BMs dresses

i dont think it matters at all...my mom and the bridesmaids all matched and it was great. i actually was looking through some non-pro pics and thought that i loved how I was the only one that stood out in the photos since everyone else matched
