My mom is searching for a dress, however she wears a plus size and is having trouble finding dresses to try on in her size. All of the bridal salons carry one dress in a small size and she can't get a good idea of what it should look like. Does anyone know of a bridal salon that carries plus size MOB dresses in the store? HELP!
Believe it or not Estelles is a great place for this. There are a ton of dresses in all different sizes and they have names such as mon cheri, etc. I would definitely go there. Plus it will give her a better idea of the size she needs.
I know Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills carries some dresses in larger sizes. There is also a store in Babylon called Omnibus (sp?) and they carry dresses up to size 22 or 24 I think.
My mom is plus sized and got her dress at Totally You in Bellmore. They had a wide variety of dresses to try on.
