MOB Dress

MOB Dress

My mom is only 42 and I feel as if most MOB dresses are very 'matronly' looking.

She doesn't wear any makeup or do her hear and only wears jeans and tshirts.

If someone can post pics or tell me where to get something that isnt over the top but somewhat 'young looking' that would be great!

TIA

Re: MOB Dress

HAHA I'm with you! My mom wears very little makeup and does not get dressy - at least not like that! We still have to go shopping but I think she'll end up in a long skirt and blouse. Even though she'll be walking me down the aisle, I want my mom to be HER and not feel uncomfortable. I have to be honest, I think I would find it weird seeing her in some gown! Some girls have told me that she SHOULD wear a gown if she's walking me and she should be willing to do it for me... BUT I guess I love her for who she is and would never ask her to do something that would make her feel strange So, I'm sure whatever your mom wears she'll look beautiful in!

Edited: Sorry I strayed from the question! Not sure of great places to shop for dresses

Re: MOB Dress

I know, some MOB dresses do look very matronly. My mother went to a number of places and tried on so many dresses. She recently bought her dress from Nordstrom's. It looks GREAT on and it's not too dressy and not too casual (which is perfect for our wedding).
