How soon should I start looking with my mom for MOB dresses? And what places would you guys suggest????

I have been hearing from a lot of people that MOB dresses are so difficult to find. A few people I know actually picked out a BM dress and are ordering that as their MOB dress. (my mom included)
MOB dresses are so expensive too- I would start looking soon.

My mom found her dress at Totally You in Bellmore. I HIGHLY recommend them........they are awesome there.

believe it or not- my mom got her dress at estelles in farmingdale and she looks fantastic! and their policy is that you just buy off the rack whatever they have in stock right there and you have to take it somewhere else to be fitted- which worked out great bc we have a family friend who's a seamstress. prices are pretty darn good too...

department stores had anice selection when we were looking...Also rk birdal hada huge selcetion for moms

my mom got her dress at Bloomingdales and it's beautiful. She looked everywhere and couldn't find anything she liked enough to justifying spending the $$$ on.
Then she went to Bloomingdales, Saks and Nordstrom and saw 6 dresses she loved. She finally picked one from Bloomies and it was half the price of what she would have spent at a bridal or MOB dress store.

My mom started looking around a little bit already. She's really trying to find out what color she wants so she can coordinate with FMIL. Also, she doesn't want the typical long gown with a blinged out jacket MOB gwn that they sell at bridal stores so we're going to try and look at some other places. She did find one she really liked at Paradise bridals.
