Hi ladies. My mom and I have been on the hunt for a MOB dress, but we keep striking out. So far we've been to:
Bridal Reflections (Massapequa and Carle Place) Sugarplum in Garden City Totally You in Bellmore Department Stores - Macy's, etc
Is there somewhere we're missing? The majority of dresses kind of seem matronly and nothing is jumping out at us. We're hoping to find it this week since we're entering rush fee territory on ordering the dress! Most stores already told us there would be a rush fee already. Time is flying!

my mom went to like 2894729347 stores lol and ended up buying at the wedding plaza in floral park. it had a really huge selection of dresses, and the women there were super nice and helpful. we didn't even make an appt we just walked in (3 times because my mom couldn't make a decision for awhile haha) and each time we went they were so nice to us

My mom actually found a dress she really loved in Lord and Taylor…hasn't purchased anything yet but she feels she'll do better in those stores than the wedding stores.

Bridal suite of bayshore had a good amount of dresses and village bridal had tons! Def go there and check them out.

Try Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Lord & Taylor. My mom got hers a Nordstrom's and it's not matronly at all

My aunt got both of her MOB dresses at lord and Taylor. My mom looked at Estelle's and village bridal. She hasn't found anything yet (it's still early) but she said they had a nice non-matronly selection.

I think everyone named all the places I could think of lol. my wedding is in less than a month and my mom still hasn't found a dress! she keeps ordering from all those stores online (she lives down south) def check out estelles and nordstrom my FMIL got her dress from. my aunt also went as far as the neiman marcus in NJ which is only like 2 hours away when she couldn't find anything around here and if you don't care going out of town there's that mall. I think it's cherry hill? it's some big fancy mall. I remember searching everywhere for my shoes and finally finding them just randomly at the king of prussia mall meanwhile nowhere in NYC had them!

My mom FINALLY picked in Village Bridal but then we order from BR because I am a bride there and they gave me a discount :) HTH

Both my mom and my FMIL have yet to get their dresses either - and the wedding is 54 days away! The three of us are going to Estelles together on January 9th. I told my mom she better fall in love with something there, because she's running out of time!

My mom got her dress at Macy's, but she also found a lot of nice dresses at Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point and Village Bridal in Babylon. A few of her favorites were from those stores. My FMIL got her dress from Lord and Taylor and was very happy with it.
