To make a long story short...my mom has been looking for a dress for herself for months now and she has not had any luck. Mostly because she is very picky. Anyway, we saw two dresses online to order but i need to know which one would look better. She will be walking me down the aisle, and she doesn't want to match the bridal party but she does want a good flow as far as colors.
The colors of the wedding are red and black. My bridesmaids will be in black dresses and red shoes. My dress is ivory and i will be wearing red shoes also.
Here are the dresses we saw. Which is a better fit?:
I really like the first dress. Its a type of dress that can fit any size woman. The second dress i feel like if you are not skinny, it just won't look flattering. I am not sure what figure your mother has though.

I am having a similar motif; my girls will be in black with purple flowers, and I want the moms to wear shades of purple!
Both beautiful dresses. The second will be more slimming but the first will really pop in photos.

Ilike the black and white combo one but I dont think it would look good walking you down in an ivory dress... sooo #1

They are both beautiful, go with #1. My mom got a Raph Lauren gown from Macy's. My colors were pink for the girls, she wore navy my MIL wore purple in two very different styles. Go with #1 it is beautiful!
