suggestions please. My mother and I are going dress browsing later today. She went to Bridal suite of bay shore yesterday and wants to go back again today, and we figure we'll stop by adriennes in east islip, but are there any other stores in the area? we've both been to village bridal, but maybe we'll stop there again. We just want somewhere that has a LARGE mother of the bride selection.

OMNIBUS in Babylon Village! THEY ARE AWESOME THERE!!! You can buy off the rack if they have your size or order them.
OMG such a nice boutique and the sales ladies are awesome!

Have you tried Estelle's? FMIL got her gown there.
Also it might be worth it for you to take a drive to Totally You in Bellmore. It's out of the way for you, but all they have is MOB/MOG dresses.

I have to say, it might be worth the money to go to Totally You on Merrik Rd in Bellmore (as suggested above). It's not the fanciest store, but they have a large selection AND they're much cheaper than any other place we looked! They didn't have my mom's exact dress that we had found in other stores BUT they ordered it and it was about $250 cheaper than 2 other places we saw the dress. It's a little further than you're asking, but I think the prices are really worth it!

she went to totally you last week and found a dress she liked, but it was out of her price range. she doesn't want to go to estelles and omnibus in babylon village is kinda pricey isn't it?

I didn't find omnibus to be much more than anyother bridal store we looked at. In fact the dress she loved was most expensive and village bridal. Omnibus was cheaper and then where I got my gown beat all their prices. (bc I got my stuff there)

Why doesn't she want to go to estelles? If you're going to be in E.I. anyway, you should try Angel Bridal. They're on main street just west of the CVS (a few stores down from Boston Market and on the same side). My mom got her dress there. GL!!!

Now I'll talk my mother into going in there. I've NEVER been there, but I stalk their windows all the time... I was always told its pricey... infact FMIL got the dress she wore to FBILs wedding from there and that was REALLY pricey.
