Ah ... Now that I see it, I think I like the blue better ... if it were a deeper purple, I'd say to go with that ...

Both are gorgeous colors and look great on her! I am partial to Blue but if your BM dresses are red, your pics might look red, white and blue if your mom and the BM's are in same pics and places. Does the dress come in any other colors?
I didn't think of the red, white and blue thing until one of the ladies who was helping my mom told her not to buy red since my BM were wearing blue.

i like the blue, i think it will be more flattering against red BM dresses, i think the purple and red will clash

my sister had the red white and blue thing - however she got married july 4th weekend so it made sense - here it might not....the blue would definitely look better with red - but I'm partial to purple - this purple may clash - a darker purple would look better with red IMO
