a lot of the non-MOB dresses my mom likes are by them and Montage. she doesn't want a traditional MOB dress

my Mom is smaller on top and she is bottom heavy so i think something ball gown style with a bolero would look nice on her.....is there a thread of real MOB's?

yup same here, the dresses my mom has narrowed it down to are all Jovani, i like many of jovani dresses for myself lol

Also the Jade line, by Jasmine, has a lot of pretty dresses...that's where my mom just ordered hers from, I posted it last week.
My mom has the same type of figure as yours (small on top, bigger hips) and after trying on tons this was the one she ended up with!

my mom has worn jovani and montage for each of my sisters weddings and they were beautiful dresses and not 'mother of bride' looking.
My friends mom also got some great things at Lord and Taylor.
