MOB dresses

MOB dresses

my mom is SUPER PICKY! and a very petite woman. She's not really into long gowns, and would prefer wearing something with a jacket.

Where did you guys find your MOB dresses? or what websites can i check out? Or pictures..ANYTHING..PLEASE I need some help in this area, I want her to feel comfortable and look great!

My mom is also super picky -- she's very slim and young looking and didn't want anything too matronly. She wanted to look like 'mother of the bride' and not like a bridesmaid.

After hitting every bridal shop in the world she ended up finding her dress at My Daughter's Wedding in Great Neck.

Your mom might want to check out some Jovani dresses. I can't really think of the names of the bridal shops with lots of MOB selection, since my mom went to every place that exists. There are a lot of dresses online she can check out though!

Good luck -- I didn't think my mom would ever find a dress but thankfully she did!

we actually went today shopping for her dress. She put a deposit on one dress, she loved it but i told her to take a week to think about it, we put a deposit down but if we pick another dress she can just transfer the deposit

she looked at chez moi which had great dresses and OZ boutique which is where she put the deposit down

My mom is using Jordan (www.jordanfashions.com) her dress is from the caterina collection. Unfortunatley, her dress has been discontinued, but there are beautiful dresses for petite women with jackets.

Paradise brials has a HUGE selection, with a sep room for MOB

My aunt got her MOB dress at Totally You on Merrick Road in Wantagh/Bellmore. She is super picky and did not want a pushy sales person. She had a dress from another place but was not crazy about it. She wanted to keep looking. At this point the wedding was 2 weeks away! Totally You did not push her at all, even knowing how close the wedding day was! They just very accomodating, patient and kind. They have a HUGE selection and She ended up finding a dress there that she LOVED! They did the alterations and did not complain about the short time in which the dress was needed. They also had a great selection of jewelry, head pieces etc. My cousin ended up changing her jewelery and buying it there. They are worth a shot!

My mom got hers in Estelles. It was long which she said she never wanted....and it had a jacket which looked lovely.

My mom found her dress at the Bridal Suite of Bayshore. She ordered a beautiful dress with a sheer jacket. The dress is by Jasmine (Jade collection).

Thanks ladies!

My mom is coming home tonight from florida (she went to visit my sister) She is also older (66) don't tell her i told you guys..lol. And super small. I will definitely start the research on some of the sites you recommended, and hopefully have some hopefuls for her when she's ready to looK!

if you guys can share your pics of your mom's dresses too taht would be great!
