MOB Dresses

So, my mom hasn't even been shopping for a dress yet. She wants me to come with her, which I'm totally fine with. My mom has two sisters who want to take her but, they're both totally frumpy and my mom is so NOT. (I love them all to death, just keepin' it real, lol).

She has such a tight budget. She's recently divorced and living on her own for the first time in a long time so, I need to take her somewhere that won't break the bank. Any suggestions??

There is a place in bellmore it's a discount off the rack type store. Can't remember the name for the life of me but its right on Merrick rd, someone else suggested it here so I'm sure someone will remember the name!
my mom found a dress a Lord and Taylor $299....u have to be careful though Macy had it for $399 & Estelle was $369!
Estelle has a good selection too! If she isn't plus size she can get a dress for $99!! Oh or dress barn! Hope that helps!

Estelle's, Macy's, Lord and Taylor...the place in Merrick I believe is called Queen of Hearts. Just be aware that if she plans on ordering a dress it will have to be rushed bc my mom stupidly waited and she got her dress at RK bridal last week. She paid an extra 100 bucks for it to come by Oct 6 or else it wouldn't have come until Oct 27 :( Not good with a wedding Nov 1!

Not sure if you have one by you but my aunt bought her MOB dress at Burlington Coat Factory! Macys had it for $299 and she paid $99 I believe. I haven't gone dress shopping there myself but she said surprisingly there were a lot of nice ones.

Definitely try to the department stores, you can find beautiful dresses at reasonable prices! And look out for coupons!

My mom found hers at off the rack at Macy's completely unexpectedly and paid next to nothing for it. She's not frumpy either and we were having a hard time finding anything at any bridal stores (she did NOT want a blazer of any kind!), but she came across this dress that we both loved on her and she ended up getting a $500 dress for like $75 after whatever sales Macy's had going on plus a coupon she had. Definitely check there!

She still has time. My mom just got hers about a month ago and FMIL isn't planning on shopping until a month before, so as long as she's not ordering anything you should be more than fine.

MOB Dresses

Definitely try all the department stores. Macys, JC Penny (I've seen a lot of nice floor-length gowns there believe it or not!), Sears, Lord & Taylor, Bloomies. Make sure if you go to Macy's you have a coupon or there's a huge sale going on. They have one-day sales once a month along with holiday sales like Labor Day, Memorial day, etc. Def keep a look-out in the paper!

I don't mean queen if heart....she was easy over priced! An all leave dress with very little sparkle was $1500!!! It was more then my wedding dress!!

Just to give u an idea what Macy's, Lord and Taylor and Nordstrom have....Here is the dress my mom is looking for in her size! So pretty u would never think it was a department store!!

My mom got hers at a trunk show at Macy's for a little over $300 (which was really over her budget but it was the only dress that actually looked decent and not old lady like on her!) I would definitely check out Estelle's, tons of dresses, all price ranges. There's also NY Bridal Outlet in farmingdale. I got my dress there but they also have other dresses off the rack. Definitely look online for sales, I know Nordstrom is having a big one now: there are always the outlets as well!!
