My mother and I started talking about MOB dresses. She found a dress in a catalogue, but it's not as formal as I'd like it to be. I keep telling her that this is a once in a lifetime event (I'm the only daughter) and I want her to really dress up. She's not a super frilly person--she's low maintenance, but still a fun person. If you girls have pics of your MOB dresses can you post them please??

this is what my mom wants for my bros wedding.
not too sure of the color she will be getting she is a MOG but i hope that helps.

Mine too. They told her to look around Christmas time which should be plenty of time for the dress.
hmmm i picked out my mom this strapless number? I loved it on her she still has a rocking body and I don't think she should hide it

i kno...
i went shoppin with my mom and she feels that she needs to lose weight and was kind of discouraged...the pic i posted was incredibly flattering and made her feel pretty.
i thought it looked great in person. really classy

It's REALLY not a MOB dress, but she's not your typical MOB and I couldn't see her in anything typical anyway.

this is gonna be difficult, my mom doesn't like long dresses, she prefers more cocktail dress styles...ONCE ive seen her in a long dress, so i hope she'll find something she loves.

I'm trying to attach a pic from the website. It's from Cold Water Creek. The dress is nice, but it's not as elegant as I would want my mom to be.
i would try to find osmething similar to that, just more dressy and see if shelikes it.....that might coax her to get her feet wet and look at more gowns
