Hi Ladies, My mom is going to order her dress over the next couple of weeks but she is getting a little worried about it. How many months before the wedding did your mom, fmil, etc order their gowns and about how long did it take for the gown to come in?

My mom just ordered her dress on Monday and my wedding is May 5th of this year. They said it would be in, so I wouldn't be concerned about your mom, I think she still has time.

My mom hasn't ordered hers yet either! I am freaking out she isn't concerned...I know there is time though

it depends on the designer and if it is going to be a customed made dress...most of the shops told my mom that the new line comes out the end of jan and the beg of feb. to order then...so I think you are fine...the dress my mom is looking at and most likely getting is a tina di martina dress

my mom ordered her dress last week, and it already came in. i asked the man and he said certain designers come fast and others can take up to 4 months. so either way you should be fine.

My mother just ordered her dress this month and my wedding is in June. The lady at the store told my mom that she is right on schedule. So I think your mother should be fine if she orders either this month or next month at the latest since you wedding is in July.

we talked to the lady at the dress shop and she said she should order def my the end of feb. to be sure it comes in
