I am having a problem finding a dress for my mother. She is a 63yr old woman who is plus size. Do any of you know some places we can go look for a dress that isn't old and farty looking. I need some place that has nice dresses that are kinds hip!! She is a hip madre!! lol
Anyway...let me know what you know so I can help her with a dress!!!!!!!! Thanks girls!

My mom went to Sugar Plums in Lynbrook they had a huge selection all types and sizes.

my mom got her dress there and she was very happy
also, have your mom look online. MONTAGE is the plus size/MOB of mon cheri brand
pretty stuff.

Its a bit pricey but my mother got her dress custom-made from Mieka in Woodbury. They have flattering dresses for heavier women. I would check it out!

Sugarplum, RK bridal and I also suggest Estelle's Dressy Dresses. Estelle's has a section for MOB dresses where the wedding gowns are and my MIL got hers from there.

QUEEN OF HEARTS IN MERRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's where I'm going with FMIL!!!! She used them 7 years ago for her other sons wedding!!!! and all she does is reave about them. all they carry is plus size gowns. she said that they were GREAT!!!!!
