MOB & MOG dresses

What kind of dresses should they wear? I originally told them to talk to each other and go dress shopping together, but thankfully they came along with us to David's Bridal when we were looking for BM dresses.

OMG, they both have the same exact taste and instead of looking at the mom section, which they weren't crazy about, they were trying on things from the prom section!

Needless to say, I will be joining them on their search. The last thing I want is for them to wear animal prints with sequins on it

Anyone willing to share pics of what their moms will be wearing? also, do they both have to wear the same color?

They do not have to wear the same color. Typically, the MOB picks her color, then the MOG picks.

My mom is wearing chocolate. She wanted me to pick it out with her -- it's actually similar to my girls' dresses, but much more modest (she's having sleeves put on it). It's chiffon. My FMIL...who knows what she'll wear, but I'm going to try to go shopping with her. HTH!

FMIL will not wear black, maybe green or a dusty rose color? She has terrible/outdated taste, so I hope her sister and niece take her shopping!

See that's more like it! These dresses are beautiful! I'm going to have to show it to them so they have a better idea of what mothers should dress like for their childrens wedding.
