My FMIL didn't wait (even though I told her to) and now my MOB and MOG are both in Navy Chiffon! I haven't told my mom yet- and I will check out FMIL's dress this weekend to make sure they are not too match-matchy.
I don't think they are supposed to match, so she should keep the purple

I never heard of them HAVING to match ... I heard they should coordinate though, so they do not clash in combined family pictures.
exactly! That's what I had first said to both of them, 'Make sure u two dont clash.' NOT, 'Make sure you two are wearing the same color' lol
