MOB/MOG dress

anyone know where I can find a dress for Len's mom? She's not that big but very tall, she wears a size 16-18.
Anyone know where I can go to find one?
We don't have time to order it from a Bridal Store.

I would try Lord and Taylor or Bloomingdales. They have nice dresses in all sizes.

My mother went just this past weekend to Sugarplums and Totally You - I think one's in Bellmore and then other is in Merrick - she saw a few gown there that she loved - she said they had a nice selection of bigger sizes- good luck!

liz .. try Totally You in Bellmore on Merrick Road. I know they carry large sizes and you can get anything in about 2 weeks if its not on the rack!

My mom bought hers there (not a large size) and they treated her soooo well. She ordered 3!! different dresses & they NEVER said a word about taking them back!

I know your said no bridal stores - but my mom ordered her dresses for both mine and my brother's weddings at Lestans in Brooklyn. They were both rec'd in a week. My mom ordered the both a month before my brother's wedding. She waited until the week before my wedding to get her alterations done nad they did it while we waited. We had to push a little but they did it and there were no extra fees!! I am not sure if that would work for you - depends on the hight thing I guess.

What about Lord and Taylor, Bloomingdales or Macy's? We saw some there when we were looking, for reasonable prices too.
