Modern, lounge type atmosphere

Iam looking for a more modern, sleek, lounge type place to hold my reception. We looked at Blue in blue Point and Hotel Indigo in Riverhead. Can anybody give me feedback on those places or know of a different place with that kind of feel? I don't know where else to look!

try the carlye on the palace has a lounge vibe.

woodbury country club- the larger room's outside area is loungy.

i love hotel indigo but IMO it is small for a weddding and when we priced it out, they didnt seem to be in line with normal places... almost like they were trying to align themselves with the 'hamptons' resorts?
