can anyone explain to me the difference between a-line and modified a-line when it comes to BM dresses?

I could be totally off but i think its just not as wide of an a line..it doesnt go out AS much as a typical A line skirt..

I think my dress is a modified a-line. It kind of looks like a mermaid style- more form fitting at the waist and hips, yet it's considered an a-line. Check out my dress pics.

My dress is a modified a-line too. ITs a little more form fitted then a regular a-line. check out my dress in my albums.
