modular homes?

Anyone buy or knows someone that has one on LI or Westchester?
DH's cousins own a modular home business in SC. The nicest homes!! We are definitely going that route when we move to NC in a few years but just wondering what the market is up here.

We seroiusly considered it....but finding a piece of land was not easy. The land is so expensive up here...we looked all over NJ.
