MOG dress

did you ladies go with your FMIL to go get her dress or did you let her get it yourself???

my mom got her dress a couple weeks ago and its long and very slimming on her and i know FMIL wanted a shorter tea length dress... is it going to look weird with the two mothers wearing different length dresses??

and if FMIL brings home a dress that i really dont like how can i possibly say that i dont like it when i know she does and she feels comfortable.. i mean i know its not going to take away from my dress or anything like that but FH and his family are from upstate so im worried it wont be fancy enough for a LI wedding.

Ask her if she wants company and would like you to join her or help pick something out that would look nice on her. Try not to make it seem like you're nervous of her taste though. I don't think its bad to have each mom in a diff length though.

I kind of gave her perameters, and she went by herself.

She emailed me pics, and I told her which ones I liked best- but she ultimately made her decision
