MOG Dress Question...kinda long

Are there 'traditional colors' for MOB and MOG dresses? My FMIL says that it use to be blue and off white...

Anyways she bought off white and my FSIL bought a light pink that fades into white...looks more white than pink. Am I crazy for being upset about this? I mean you can't really help it if someone that attends the wedding wears white but shouldn't the close family know better?

I'm also doing a traditional indian wedding where I wear a red outfit and my FSIL also bought an outfit with mostly red in it which I was upset about but brushed off until I found out about the white dresses

i've never heard of 'traditional colors' for MOB or MOG....
i would certainly not be happy with any family showing up in white to my wedding either!
