I do not have to many girls in my family that I am close with, so my younger cousin is going to be my MOH, but I am not sure if she is to young for the church. My cousin will be 16 at the time I get married.
Did anyone else have a similar problem or know if 16 is too young for a MOH in a catholic church?

I don't really know anything about churches, but what do you mean would she be too young for the church? To young to do what?

Re: MOH age question....
I was my sister's MOH when i was about 14 - the only thing is I don't think I actually signed her marriage license - someone else was her official 'witness' but I did everything else for her. . . one of her other BMs took over the bachelorette party for me too

Re: MOH age question....
my sister is 16, and is my MOH. We are getting married in a Lutheran Church, but it is not a problem for them. I think the only thing she might not be able to do, is sign the marriage certificate.

The only thing I can think of that she may be too young for is to witness your signature on your marriage license. She may have to be 18 to be a witness

My sister/MOH is going to be 21 by the time we get married, but my future niece is only going ot be 12, but she already has a body and and a half so I cant put her in any of those cutesy dresses. If you love your sister enough to make her your MOH is doesnt matter how old she is. Just get someone of age to sign the paperwork

I am having both my sisters, so I guess if that is the case I will be okay then.

I don't think that is too young, as long as she's capable of doing all the duties required by a MOH. Or I've even seen some brides have a brother or male best friend as their MOH, that's another alternative you can think of.
ETA: Have you considered having a best friend or close friend?
