we went dress shopping this weekend... my sister is my MOH, only having her and then my nieces as flower girls. we didn't want a bridesmaidy dress - she tried a few on at burton's since we were there and didn't love them - also had no idea what color we both liked.
so we went to ann taylor in WW mall to try their celebrations line b/c I'm having a daytime wedding so i wanted more of a fun, shorter dress for her. This is what we ended up getting - she was really happy b/c she's not heavy but she's pretty busty and this was so flattering on her and it's the same neckline as my dress. we didn't get it with the sash but will hopefully get that later. the Dress was on sale for $80!
totally my style and I'm glad she liked it - now i need flower ideas to snazz it up a little!

I think they are totally reasonable and nice - my sister would have paid whatever, her words were 'well if you change your mind between now and May it was only $80!!!'

Did you buy off the rack or have to order? Do you know the style infomation? Does the sale end at a certain time?

no they actually wouldn't let you buy off the rack - you have to order, it comes in in five days. They'll show you the colors it comes in and you can decide. check the website also they have tons on sale. They were out of the ivory sash but i'm sure it will come in. We were lucky that she tried it in the brown b/c i thought i'd like the green but really didn't after all.
