MOH Duties Commencing!

Getting ready to head to my best friend/MOH's rehearsal for her wedding tomorrow! Hoping to come back with lots of reviews and crossing my fingers this rain lets up

Wish me luck on my (yet to be finished) MOH toast....

My best friend's wedding was perfect! Quick review of the LI vendors:

The Woodlands: GORGEOUS! So gorgeous, I kind of wish I beat her to it (I never looked there because she booked before I was engaged)! Her bridal attendant was Iris, she was very sweet and super attentive when her bustle and her dress strap broke (she was a ragamuffin bride by the end of the night, poor thing!) She also printed my toast out for me.
The food was good, very nice variety at the cocktail hour, and she didn't add any extras, so the basic package is more than sufficient. The drinks were STRONG! I went back to pick all her stuff up the next day and they had her frames, bouquet, cake top and groom's cake ready to go. Everything was just amazing, FM me with any specific questions!

Black Dahlia: Flowers were beautiful, I still have my bouquet. I walked through while the were setting up and they were like a well oiled machine. Everything arrived at her mom's house and at the church with time to spare.

Hilton Garden Inn Melville: Standard, but nice. The bar stayed open past 3am and it appeared that we were the only wedding party sitting at it (though there were 2 other weddings staying). The shuttles took some time to show up, and were not included; she had to pay for them. Definitely not a major issue, though-I begged the bartender at the Woodlands for one more drink after the party was over and happily drank away in the lobby while we waited.

Angela's Hair Design: AAAA-MAZING. Love her, and SO happy I booked her for my own wedding. We all looked gorgeous if I do say so myself. I had curls that were swept to one side and the curls stayed throughout the next day even after I unpinned the whole thing. The bride's hair looked fabulous. She's also the sweetest person ever, and helped some of the girls into their dresses. Really can't say enough good things about her.

She used Brett Matthews for photos. Happy to FM if anyone is interested, though I don't recall many brides on here using them.

Her DJ and limos weren't LI vendors, though the DJ was awesome!
