She's due 6 months before my wedding. Perfect timing! I am so happy for her! So I'm just wondering when we go for her gown she will be about 7 months along. How's this gonna work?

One of my BM's was prego when we ordered dresses, they just measure her bust and hips and do some calculating for the waist.

They will probably be able to suggest what the best options are. I would def order something a size or two bigger than what she is normally, this way she has some room for what she does not lose before the wedding. Or she can just order it late and have rush delivery, if possible.

Congratulations! I would say it depends on how much weight she gains. If she isn't that big by the time you go to get the dresses she could just have them measure her then.
If she gains a lot then I would say wait to be measured and then just pay to have it rushed. From what i have seen usually women who gain a ton during pregnancy lose it fairly quickly and most of the time when they try to make a dress significantly smaller it doesn't come out looking right. JMO

She is very tiny (HER wedding dress was a size 1!). I don't think she'll get that big anyway. The shop that I'm planning to get the dresses from has a very skilled alterations department. They better be!
