Pick whomever you want. I have three sister and they are all selfish. My mom got over it when I called the meeting and told them all at once, none of them are in the BP and explain why. I didn't feel bad and believe me I don't have any stress from it.

I vote FSIL , you need someone who is going to help you and who you are comfortable with.
your Man of honor isnt going to help you out of your dress if you have to go to the bathroom.
That would be funny.

Re: MOH situation
I spoke with FH last night and what I'm going to do is have sister as maid of honor and FSIL as matron of honor. Then my other friend is going to be a groomsmen. Whoever has a problem- TOO BAD!!! MY WEDDING, MY DAY, MY MONEY AND MY HAPPINESS!!!!
Edited to say: Thank you ladies. I was very upset last night, but with your help and great advice you made this soooo much easier.

I think that's so nice. It's really nice to have FSIL as a maid of honor especially if you guys are close.

Re: MOH situation
You made the right decision choosing both...because in the end it's really all about what you want. What you decide your family should respect, but unfortunately we can never please everyone so in the end, just make sure you and FH are happy.

I completely agree with you. It's such a petty thing to have to bother with. I told FH last night- let's go to Vegas, get married and call it a day!!! lol

So, I orginially was thinking about having my sister as MOH. The problem is that we aren't that close and she's been completely unhelpful. My mom would be soooo upset if I didn't pick her as MOH.
So, I was thinking of selecting my FSIL as matron of honor and having my sister as maid of honor. My mom thinks that would take away from my sister....ummmmm I DON'T CARE!!! My day- PERIOD!!
Also, is it weird to have a man of honor?? One of my best friend's is a guy, but I wish he were a girl right now because this situation would be soooooo much easier!!!
is your potential man of honor single, cute and gay? if so, then use him, and i'll be his date LOL

Good for you! There's nothing wrong with having more than one MOH. If your sister is offended, big deal. It's your day. You can do what you want! FH's cousin's hubby had a best woman in their wedding, anything flies these days, you pick who you want to share your day with!
GL!

go with the sister and FSIL
that way both sides are represented with you
See if your MOH can be another best man for your FSIL
