MOH Speech

MOH Speech

Help, I'm the MOH at my sis's wedding this Friday and I have to give a speech.
Can anyone give me examples of great speeches they've heard at weddings?

I was going to speak about her and then him coming into her life, but now I'm thinking I should focus on them as a couple...
And I wanted it to be light-hearted and not so mushy but it's hard to do that in front of 200+ people!

Any tips would be great.

well - don't want to pat myself on the back - but i was told i gave a really good speech @ my cousins wedding.

i will give you an overview - if you want me to find exactly what i read (if i can) fm me.

but i was MOH in my cousins wedding - and i told her that i was blessed 2b born inot our family - cause god gave me a best friend. that we walked through life together and at this point you will walk with DH. and then i ramlbed on about how great he is, she is, and they are together.

the whole speech was no longer than 2 minutes long - which i am sure was appreciated by all the guests. take that into consideration when writing - keep it short and meaningful.

My Maid and Matron of Honor wanted to do a power point presentation with handouts for the gusts to follow. My caterer actually has screens installed in the ceilings that are hidden and then drop down. LMAO. I know one of them from my childhood and she will more than likely speak of me as a child (but briefly) the other will speak of me as an adult and how FH has enhanced my life.
