moh toast- HELP

HI Gals,

I'm the MOH for my sister's wedding and she asked me to make the toast because the BM is too shy.
(her wedding is next week) I have no problem doing it, I just wanted to know if anyone knew of a web site where i can find a nice poem or something to include in my speech. I've known my sister forever but I don't know anything about her FH.
I just want it to be something simple & nice.
I appreciate any help/suggestions.

Yeah you should say something him, that's the idea. You can welcome him into the family. Speak about how proud your sister is of him (I hope she is!!!) and maybe some nice quality about him you've noticed.

Some MOH speeches I've heard include light jokes either about the bride or parents of the bride. Example - Good luck groom, bride takes forever to get ready. Who knew, when father of the bride retired he would become a part-time chauffer and full-time wedding planner.

Saw this while watching video recaps. BM says, what do you say about someone who is smart, funny, good looking, etc, but enough about me, lets talk about the groom. You can adapt this for your sister and then talk about the couple and welcoming him into the family.
