MOH vent

my two sisters are my matrons of honor and my cousin is my maid of honor and i just spoke w/ one of my sisters who basically hinted to the fact that my cousin was being, lets just say, 'less than cooperative w/ plans.' so i tried to pry out of her what she was talking about and she remained very tight lipped- 'trust me you don't want to know. it will only annoy you.' i guess telling me too much would also spoil my bach party plans which are a surprise to me. but she did tell me that she sent out e-vites via email for the bach party and all my girls responded back super quick and all excited, but my cousin/maid of honor... still no reply after almost 2 wks. but the site told my sister she had viewed it but just didnt respond. my sister also talked to my maid of honors sister (my other cousin) and when my sis asked about the whole not responding thing, she flat out told her 'oh. ____ doesnt respond to e-vites. she just doesnt like them' or something to that effect. ew.

my sis also said that was the least of it. and that she or her fam was just being judgmental about everything. i always feel bad for the the girls in the bridal party trying to do something nice and having to deal w/ one or some of the other girls doing things like this and that they have to put up w/ it, w/o really being able to express any of it to the bride. she doesnt want to freak me out but wants me to have an idea of whats going on i guess. they always wondered why i made her my MOH. ugh.

vent over.........sorry!! im just sad there has to be anything snarky going on when its all supposed to be in good fun.

little update: just talked to my other sis and she said its much worse than I could prob imagine. LOL awesome!!!!!!!

I am having many issues with my BP as well, my cousin who is not the MOH has taken over everything!!!! It will all be ok, no need to worry, this is what I keep hearing from my mom who just wants to keep peace. We need to just sit back and let them work out everything and it will all come together perfectly!!

i know. totally true! i have no doubt it will all work out. just stinks to hear this kinda stuff goes on behind the scene, huh?

So sorry to hear that! I'm sure it will all be fine. People have a right to their opinions, evites and whatnot, but as a MOH she really should pick up the phone or something. Try not to get involved, if at all possible. It'll be hard, but your sisters can handle it I'm sure

Ill def be staying out of it. And I know it will be fine. She is def entitled to her opinion about the evite thing...tmy only thought about that is just..gimme a break, its for a bach party of like 6 or 7 girls, who judges whether evites are okay or not?!, and more than that, just bc you dont like it, doesnt mean you shouldnt respond at all. Thats weird. She could call, email, text, IM, pass it along thru fam, however she'd like. My sisters just need to know for planning. Shes my MOH And we have always been like best friends.

As much as I did want to know, Im actually glad my sis spared me. Knowing will only make me more annoyed!

Indeed.

I cant say to the others that I know what has been going on.... so I have to be frustrated without acting upon it.
