My MOH hates every single dress I show her for the wedding!! I think the total is 27 so far. She either tells me they are horrific or 'I guess it's ok if you like that. It's not for me'... I know everyone says to pick out a dress I like and too bad, but it really bothers me. I might just go one day w/ another BM and pick the dresses.

Yowch! That would upset me too, especially since my MOH is my fashionista sister and she would never let me hear the end of it. Good luck with everything!

UGH! That suuuucks! the MOH is your sister, right? She should be happy you're not sticking her in this..
Bring another BM since your MOH is being so difficult. When you pick a dress and she gives you a hard time tell her she's going to have to grin and bare it because she wasn't very helpful in finding a dress she liked so you had to go to someone else for help.

My MOH is a pain in the a$$ too, so I went with my other BM and picked out a dress and now she'll just have to deal with it.

lucky for me my MOH doesn`t care what i stick her in. i think that your MOH needs to understand that this is your day and to look at the bigger picture not just at herself all the girls together and how that would look.

sorry to crash - my MOH is my sister, and she came with me and my BMs to pick out the dresses - and of course now that they are in, she keeps complaining about the boning in the top and saying how uncomfortable she is going to be. you can't please everyone, and it seems as though you have tried, so i say go with your BMs and pick one out that you both like.

i would tell her ' well um...if its your wedding you can wear whjat you want!' lol but i can be a biotch like that! . I am sure ull find something. One of my bridemaids was iffy about the dresses i picked cause she thought the neckline was too low but once i told her it can be fixed she was fine with it!! i am so happy i have easy bridesmaids!!

ACTUALLY WHEN MY SISTER GOT MARRIED WE WORE THOSE DRESSES IN BARNEY PURPLE Then she pulls this....read on...
My MOH is my sister, we picked out dresses that the BP liked, I wasn't a fan but they all seemed happy. WE all agreed it was just a bit too early to order. Fast forward...I get a call from David's Bridal...the dresses have been discontinued. I am now ecstatic because I felt the dresses weren't dressy enough. IMO...there is nothing worse than the guests being more dressed up then the BP. So I tell the BP and they said no problem. I emailed them a few dress choices and all had no problem with it but the MOH. Luckily...one of my BM wrote a beautiful speech and emailed it to all, stating that it was my wedding, the BP should wear what I ask them to wear because it is my vision not theirs and that if my BP especially my MOH (sister) trusted me enough to be my friend/family they should trust my judgement with whatever BM dress I put them in.
I SWEAR TO AL ON LIW THAT I NOT MAKE MY BP WEAR THE DRESSES ABOVE...IN ANY COLOR...ESPECIALLY BARNEY PURPLE!!!!!!!!

Oh you are not alone on this one!! She's been a total beast and hasn't really helped me at all. And her new thing is that she joined a gym and is going to lose alllll this weight so she doesn't want to order her dress until 3 months before!! I told her that she's ordering in August with everyone else, and if she doesn't want to, she will be replaced. She wasn't ever supposed to be the MOH to begin with, but thats another issue!!!

the funny thing is, we weren't even going to have a bridal party. Just an MOH and best man. We are having a bp to AVOID drama (and so that I can have some sanity day of)!! The worst part is she's my sister...

It is so hard to please a group of people. The more opinions you add, the harder it becomes. Have a few in mind, give her a choice between those and call it a day! That's what I'm planning on doing.
