Does the MOH and the Matron of Honor wear the same dress, or different style?

i dont think it matters. Im having 2 MOH's & they are both wearing a different dress. I gave them option of whatever they wanted to do. So i have 2 dresses all together one MOH is wearing one different dress & the other MOH will be matching the rest of the girls.

there really is no rule for this, it's more of a preference.
Some MOH wear different colors, some wear different dresses, some wear the same exact dress but have a different bouquet, it's really up to you.
I might have my MOH in the same dress but a different shade of pink.

It really all depends on what you want. Since my MOHs are going to be doing sooo much for me, I wanted to make sure that they stand out as much as possible..and I made that clear to them already. The BMs will be in ankle length dresses, but the MOHs will be in the same style dress just floor length, and different colors. Then, they are both going to be adding crystals to the top part to stand out even more! So... they agreed that that's what they wanted...so that's what they got. :) lol

My MOH is same dress, different color with a slightly larger BoK.
BMs mostly brown with champagne accents MOH mostly champagne with brown accents

They where different dresses, and usually different colors. Im trying to get my mom to start shopping but shes saying its still to early. FMIL is wearing traditional African Attire.

I don't think it really matters - I've seen it done with the same dress, different color - but I'm having my MOH wear the same dress, same color as the other BMs - maybe she'll have a slightly different bo-k but I haven't decided on that yet

My BM dresses will be pink on pink (they have sashes) and then my MOH will wear a pink dress with a white sash.

As of now, my MOH are wearing the same dress. But I have seen many brides pick different MOH dresses to make them stand out.

My MOH had the same dress as the BMs, but had a bigger bo-k and different jewelery. You can do whatever you want.

Im doing the same dress for all my girls. MOH and Matron are wearing the same color but, different color sash. BMs are wearing 2 different colors with different color sashes....all shades of brown.
