MOH/MOH dresses & BP

MOH/MOH dresses & BP

Good Morning Girls, i have two questions that have been haunting me this week:

1. Do my Matron of Honor and Maid of Honor have the exact same dress (which is a little different then my BM) or are their dresses a little different (my Matron of Honors being 'nicer' then my MOH's)

2. My FH thinks its dumb to ask our BP to be our BP this early, I think that its fine time (considering his sister is home from college and our eparty is in a few months)? When did everyone ask their BP to be their BP?

and one more question...my FH wants his dad to be his BM...i think thats ridic--his best friend should be, what does everyone think about this?

TIA

Danielle

I am planning on having my MOH and BM in different styles. I have seen where MOH and BM are in the same dress but different colors. It's really what you want.

I have asked my girlfriends already to be in my bridal party. I just have one more to go.

On the other hand, FH is dragging his feet about asking his friends. Men don't seem to understand the importance. of telling their friends now. I guess it's because we are brides.

Hey Danielle!
I'm not really sure about about the Matron and the MOH dresses - I'm not up to that point yet. But I just wanted to tell you that I asked my girls like 3 seconds after FH and I got engaged. I was so excited and I knew they were going to be in our BP and they did too so I didn't see a point in waiting!! And they were so excited and honored that I thought of them so early on!

About his dad being BM - that's not how it's traditionally done but they must be so close! I don't think it would be wrong! Just different. And different is always good =)

GL!!

I don't think its necessary to make a matron of honor and a maid of honor different from each other, but I'm hoping to be able to make my matron of honor a little different from the BM's. I asked my girls at our engagement party this past August, but FH hasn't officially asked any of his guys yet.
