I said something about a card box.. mom and FMIL said that I'm supposed to carry a satin bag around with me when I go table to table (UGH) and people will give me cards then. And then I have to find someone to babysit the bag.
BUT I WANT A PRETTY CARD BOX!!!
I hate this whole gift thing... like a bill collector going door to door with my little trick or treat bag 'ok, I'm saying hi, time to pay what you owe' that's what it feels like! If there's a box, people can just put it in discreetly whenever they feel like it and I don't need to know or worry about it.
Why didn't we just elope? GAH.

Haha..I feel you some of the girls at work are making fun of me b/c I'm not doing the bag thing. They swear I am going to be dropping cards by the time I get around to all the tables.
Maybe do the bag but have the box set up and you can go put them in there so no one has to babysit the bag. It's a win-win (sort of)

I honestly wouldnt go with a bag from table to table. thats just me. one wedding I have been to where they had a bag-- FMIL had it on here and people just gave her the envelopes.

This thread is quite amusing! I know what you all mean! My mom told me that I had to go around with a bag - but I don't like the bags, I think they're kinda ugly, lol ... But, she is insisting, and buying the bag for me, and you know what? I'm appointing HER to empty the bag into my cardbox! She's actually ok with that, believe it or not.
