I wanted both, but my mom wanted traditional, so we went with just my dad. she thought that it was his special moment and she didnt' want to take that away from him.

Although I am much closer with my Mom, I decided to have just my Dad walk me down because I figure it is one of the few experiences I will get to share with him. Also my dress is poofy and I'd kind of be scrunched in between the two of them.

My mom and dad. I love that Jewish tradition, and when friends told me about it I knew I wanted both walking me. I considered just my mom since she has been so much more involved in my life and the wedding, but I felt bad excluding my father, even though he hasn't really been there for me.
