FH and I went to my parent's house for dinner tonight and my Mom surprised me with DOJ. She actually had two sets of earrings and wanted to suprise me with them but couldn't decide which one to give me so she had me pick the one I liked best. She is so sweet. When we first got engaged my parents offered me a certain amount of money which covers the hall I chose. My mom was a little disappointed b/c she had hoped she could cover more than just the hall. I wasn't...I was just appreciative of what they were willing to give. Since then she has bought my dress and now given me my earrings. I keep telling her she needs to stop doing extra their initial gift was more than enough, but she just keeps telling me 'I'm her daughter and she wants my day to be special'. I don't have the actual earrings..she says if I have a shower they will be there as a gift and I am supposed to act suprised. However here is a pic of them. I really am super lucky to have such a great mom.
