Mom is too cute...

I am on the phone with her the other day and she pulls this random thought out of nowhere:

'Um, SO Leslie, hows your um REGISTRY doing?'

Im playing dumb here for entertainment purposes and asked her what she was talking about. Apparently, she knows I have the ability to check my registry on-line and wants to know if I have been looking but will not come out and ask. I am pretending, for her sake (she loves this stuff) and the element of surprise to not know what shes talking about. FH thinks its funny. So I am thinking, 'What does she want me to say 'Gee mom things are flying off the registry and thanks for the Kitchen Aid Mixer that I am not supposed to know that you bought but that my sister forced you to buy for me WEEKS ago!'?' I couldnt spoil that surprise for her. I think shes adorable!

Hmmm.. I have a weird feeling that it may be this weekend.. but thats just a feeling. If not, Im dead wrong, obviously .

Your mom seems excited. Thats a great thing. I smell shower. MmmMmmmm.

I know it isnt this weekend. I think it will be the day after my BP luncheon (Dec 11.) when my brother has his daughters for the weekend. They are in the BP.

Yes it is. The only thing I DO know is that it is within the next 60 days. We were at Papyrus in the mall yesterday and I bought thank you notes (specifically for a bridal shower) that were so cute and FH didnt stop me. Their return policy is 60 days! He is pretty practical like that. I am generally not one for surprises - I get too anxious. They all know I know that something is being planned - I just dont really know date and time and location.
