mom vent - dad in the ER

My Mom just called to tell me that my dad fell and is in the ER and wanted to know if I wanted her tix to the Gateway tonight.

When i asked what happened and if he was ok, she was annoyed but...

She was even more annoyed that I declined taking the tix bc its FHs gmas bday and we're going to a party.

W t f? Why does she have such attitude and jealousy towards his family? Whaevs.

Meanwhile i still dont know if my dads ok.

Lynbrook. So theyre either in franklin sq at north shore/LIJ, mercy in rvc or s nassau in oceanside.

start calling hospitals to see which one he is at before you drive to the wrong one.

Honestly, your mom is probably pissed that your dad hurt himself doing something stupid. I'm sure he is ok. If it were seriously life threatening, I really doubt your mom would have told you about the tickets. She would have told you to get your but to the hospital.

Thats it. But i havent lived at home since 95 and i never hang w my family anyway. Why does she care? It makes me crazy worrying she'll be rude to them when I love them so much. Theyre all so worried about my dad and FBIL and 2 cousins have been texting asking about him. My FMIL has called twice. FH wants to go to the ER. Cmon now, how could she not love them?

Doing something stupid! He had gotten gas cans to fill his boat up...fyi completely against marina rules, and tripped and fell while carrying tgem in the yard. Stupid!!!!

Yeah a broken hand is nothing considering both my parents have almost died in 08 and 09. Sigh.
