mom will be happy.....
FINALLY booked appointments for my newest tatoo and FH's engagement present. I was nice enough to give FH the earlier date in august, because i wanted to be nice, its closer to his birthday, plus with my dress my leg might still be healing the day of the e-party and no one wants to see a scabbed up leg portrait in a pretty cocktail dress, lol.
we've also decided we arent going to vegas. with saving for things and also trying to find an apartment, it really came down to being realistic, sure vegas wouldnt be a lot, but thats more money to put towards apartment-related things. so we'll most likely still take a few days off and just go to FMIL's condo in ocean city, still a lot of fun and relaxing but only at like, no cost to us (just food and what we do there and gas to get there, no rental fee).
we also decided on our centerpieces (i'll post pics when i do another trial to show our moms) and decor for the rest of the e-party. i'd say this weekend was pretty eventful and efficient, mom will be happy (especially bc she doesnt like the tattoo idea, lol)
