Re: Mommies 2 be?

Im 28 weeks preggo and doing well. I have sciatica which is no fun but I am not immobile, I can chase my 18 month old around so I guess Im doing OK. It just kills me at night, my right leg and groin ache so badly.

Im going for my 1 hour gestational diabetes test tomorrow - yes, I get to drink the yummy syrup Hopefully all will be A-OK there.

We dont have any names 100% picked out yet and really are so clueless about whether we are having a boy or girl (My gut told me boy all along with Luke)

Thanks for asking. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Thanks for asking!

I'm in week 15 and starting to feel pretty good from what I was feeling like in the 1st trimester. My only complaint these days is heartburn which I think is worse than what my morning sickness was like. But I am learning which foods not to eat to avoid it.

I have the triple screen test next week but we are still undecided if we want to do it cause we've heard 2 different sides to it and I dont want the extra worry.

Take tums!!! They have calcium & are ok to take while pregnant!

Heartburn means hair!!

Re: Mommies 2 be?

Thanks for asking Tracy!! I am about 16 weeks along. I've been feeling great lately. I'm past the nausea and extreme tiredness and just starting to get to that point where I have a lot of energy. My only complaint right now is my feet seem to be swelling a little. So when I come home I try to put them up as much as I can.

I had a doctors visit last week and everything is going well. We heard the heartbeat again-it's just so amazing. I did the AFP blood test and I should have the results back tomorrow.

Basically everything seems to be going great!!

Thank you for asking! I am now 18 weeks and feeling SO much better - my only complaint is that my rapidly stretching stomach hurts and feels so strange! But I started feeling the baby move about a week ago, and it has been constant since then! Oh, and I go for my big sonogram next Tuesday where I will (hopefully) find out the sex of the baby - I can't wait!

All is well here! 15 weeks along. Went to the doctor yesterday and everything is great. I have gained 3 pounds so far so that made me happy. We have a sonogram in two weeks and plan NOT to find out the sex. We also decided to turn down any testing. The way my DH and I see it, why do the testing if you are not going to do anything with the results? Plus, there are so many false positives that I don't want to have to be subjected to and amnio or further testing when the chances of the test results being inaccurate are fairly high.

OH...and we found out that my DH got a promotion that will be moving us from Dallas, Texas to Cincinnati Ohio! As if one major life change this year wasn't enough! But we are excited. I can stay home with the baby now and we will be much closer to family.

I am doing well. I'm in my 28th week and feeling pretty good. Our little bean had its legs crossed at the 20 week sonogram so the sex will be a surprise. We wanted to know but are getting exciting about not finding out until the birth. The heartburn is starting for me as well so Tums are my new best friend. Pizza is the main problem but I just can't give it up! Hope all the other Mommies to be are feeling great!

A couple days shy of 18 weeks and doing great! Two weeks away from our ultrasound. I have lots of energy and a few sciatic nerve twinges. I THINK I've been feeling the baby this past week, I can't wait until it gets stronger So far the Dr. says everything is okay The belly is getting bigger!!

Glad to hear all the 'preggos' are doing well!

Heartburn definitely meant hair with Luke. He was born with a ton of dark hair, he looked like an Asian baby and DH & I both have light hair and DH's hair is not...well let's say it's not plentiful. He ultimately lost it all and now has the curly light brown hair but I thought for sure Id have a little baldy but he was the opposite. My heartburns bad again so maybe more of the same this time?

Re: Mommies 2 be?

well THANK YOu for the tips on the heartburn. Its only after I eat certain foods so I can manage with it but there are some things like Pizza I have to have so I just have tums handy. The smooth dissolve ones are so much better than the regular!

Well you know ....

I am 37 weeks and feeling fine! Except for the swollen ankles (cankles!) by the end of a days work... everything else is great. Strangely, not one ounce of heartburn. I wonder if I am having a baldy baby????
