How long after your surgery did you bleed for? My dr said that an advantage of having a c-section is that you bleed less than a woman who had a v a g i n a l delievery.
I had heavy bleeding for about 4 days then I was VERY lite for about 3 more weeks. By week 5 it was GONE!
I never bled heavy at all. It was so light it was practically nonexistant. It was there enough to be annoying, but went away by like 3-4 weeks.
I had heavy bleeding for about 5 days, then light for 5 weeks, but it wasnt too bad.

I bled for the whole 6 weeks postpartum unfortunately. My doctor said it doesn't matter if you've had a c-section or not you'll bleed the same and then not even a week later, I was lucky and started my period! I was also breastfeeding exclusively!
I could have written Melissa's post. But, I did not breastfeed. I bled the entire time, ugh.. then I got my period. GRR.
Oh yeah, I got my period back 7 weeks pp. And I was also breastfeeding exclusively.
