For girls who's parents are NOT helping with the wedding - what are you getting for your mom? I feel like I want to spend about $20 to get her a little something so she feels included.

Re: MOMS
Parent Albums... bouquets for walking down the aisle. We're including them in the ceremony. They are NOT on the invitation. They are also getting some things similar to what the BMs are getting because they will most likely help with the RD and festivities.
Mind you.. FH and I are paying for EVERYTHING and more.. I may seem like a snot for not putting them on the invite, but I honestly believe they are getting more than they deserve considering they are paying ZIP. JMO..

Re: MOMS
I got wine glasses with their initials (which, by the way... are like $3-$5 at Christmas Tree Shop!). I got them totes.. they are getting botles of wine. And.. maybe a purse or something.. as well as 'shopping in the city for dresses/lunch date'.
Honestly... the parents albums and boks are big money... so I think I went a little overboard. I mean, their albums are mini versions of ours. It's crazy!
cute - but my mom wont cry - shell just complain haha.
Why I am getting her something? Because of Jewish guilt. If I dont - I will forever beat myself up for it lol

Re: MOMS
Not sure. parent albums are SO expensive! Our photographer suggested we make them albums on one of those websites so maybe that.
Each of us only have one parent on each side. My mom is paying for my shower and dress which is a huge expense for her so although she isn't paying for any of the wedding, I still want to get her something nice. She has always wanted a designer bag but will never spend the money on herself so maybe I'll get her a coach bag, make an album, and a frame for one of the big pics she is getting from our photography package.

That's sweet to get her something she really wants but wouldn't buy for herself. Maybe match it to her dress so she can use it the day of the wedding.

Re: MOMS
FH and I are paying for the wedding but we are still planning on getting our moms/dads gifts to thank them for supporting us through the years ~ I'm thinking a Tiffany necklace for the moms or something along the lines of that.
My parents aren't paying for any of the wedding but my mom did get me my dress and is taking care of all my accessories and alterations, which is a huge help for me. I'm going to get her one of those glass statue things of a mom and daughter in her wedding dress. I've seen a few really pretty ones. I think lenox makes them. I know my mom would really like that. Were also getting both our parents albums, but the small ones.

Re: MOMS
My parents both want to help but are having financial difficulties.
I'd like to get my mom a hankie (like the one that was posted) and a picture frame. For my dad, I think I'd like to get him a hankie too. He's the old fashioned italian type. I think we'll do the picture frame for him too.
Afterward the wedding we'll put together an album for them both. (They're divorced)
