Mom's Dress

My mom found a dress that she LOVES...it's okay but I liked other ones she tried on. What should I do? She loves it so much I fell bad being honest about how I feel. My sisters and her friend told her it was great.

I should just let it go, right?

I say let her wear the dress she wants to. If she loves it, she is going to feel beautiful wearing it.

I'd go back one more time and have her try that dress on, and a couple of the others, just you and her, then narrow it down with her. Ask her if she likes certain aspects of the dress as she has it on. Then you can maybe say, perhaps this one will look a little better (for example) in the waist...etc.

But it really comes down to, it is her dress, and she has to be the one that feels beautiful in it.

Make sure to take pics of her in each dress so she can see how she looks in the pics.

I think you should let her wear the one she likes, as long as it's not really terrible. Everyone always feels better/has a better time when they feel like they look their best. It's your day, but it's a big day for your mom too.

ETA: Remind me I said this when MY mom wants to wear a potato sack to MY wedding!

If she looks good in it and she is paying for it, I would let her pick the one that she loves.
