leaking fluid or its just discharge?

Responses needed ASAP ... I'm not sure what's going on right now & the dr has not called me back yet!

Glad that all is OK.

If I may throw more confusion into the works - when your water breaks, it is not always a gush and lots and lots of 'water'. It depends on where the amniotic sac ruptures. Mine was high up so my water breaking was more of a constant trickle.

Thanks so much girls for your support! Makes me feel better to know that there's someplace to go w/ questions & problems w/o feeling like a constant complainer! You guys are so wonderful!

Elizabeth .... thanks for the info! I'd heard both stories (the gush & the trickle) and was wondering what the difference was. I've also heard that most women don't even have their water break at all! Sometimes it CAN be very confusing.

Glad we can help! There's nothing like talking to other Moms about pregnancy and babies, especially on a board like this. We are all obviously here to talk about it so it's not like you have to worry about boring anyone. Plus on line, you can't see if someone is yawning or their eyes are glazing over - which I'm sure has been done to me a time or two.

You probably have a ton of advice to offer to the newer preggos - you're an expert already.
