Monday...

I know today is gloomy and yucky out...
So I just wanted to wish everyone a 'Happy Soggy Monday'...
IVe tried to not be gloomy after comming back to the kids all crazy... and so... I am thinking that today after work when I am walking the kids to the corner and they are jumping into the puddles... (which makes them so happy) I AM GOING TO JUMP IN TOO! haha...

Just a crazed morning. I hope you guys can find something to laugh about... if u cant... use me jumping as your thought!!

I can't believe how much my kids forgot over the weekend!!! WOW!! I teach remedial reading in an elementary school and I felt like it was day 1 in September!! just happy to be home in my jammies!!!!

SO AM I!!!
I gave them ONE SMALL PROJECT to do ( i have 4th grade) and how many of them 'forgot' they had homeowrk...
PLUS I do schoolnotes!!

I am so mean..I gave a quiz today. I have 8th graders.. the honors had a quiz on word choice and the 8 regents had a quiz on fragments/run-ons. Nothing like a soggy morning and grammar quizzes! haha

I wouldn't want you as a teacher heheh j/k I remember the days after a long weekend and a teacher decide to give us a test (we used to call any teache who did that the grinch).

haha i know I did feel bad..but in feeling bad I told them if they did not feel like they would be ready for the quiz they could tell me before break and I would give it to them tomorrow....no one did.

i was off today... so my first day back after a long weekend is tomorrow.. and it's going to be rough!!!

To all you teachers... im a librarian..... and my FH is looking for an elem ed job.. he graduated in August with his masters in elem ed.. it's tough to find something out there... but he's subbing.. working full time at his computer job and just trying to find something....
but he was subbing today and he said the kids were off the wall after a long weekend... and a SUB!!! (can ya imagine hehe)
